ICNM WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENT 2.22.2013
CNM Libraries received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Libraries Association entitled Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys. We have received 25 books, four videos, and a one-year subscription to Oxford Islamic Studies Online. We are organizing outreach events to complement our new resources. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend, as is the general public.
Join us at the CNM Montoya Campus this spring as CNM Libraries hosts film screenings and events about the people, places, history, faith and cultures of Muslims in the and around the world.
All events are to be held in Room J-122.

The Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association. Support was provided by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York. Additional support for the arts and media components was provided by the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art.
The ICNM will be starting a new youth program for boys and girls entitled ICNM Muslim Teen Club. This program will Insha'Allah create a fun and safe venue for our muslim teens aged 11 to 19. the fee will be $25 per month for each teen and free for any student currently attending the ICNM Sunday school.
